SUSIE SAENZ
Chief of Staff and Vice President, St. John Paul II Foundation
Susie Saenz is Chief of Staff and Vice President at the St. John Paul II Foundation where she is responsible for providing counsel to the President, managing the Office of the President, promoting overall operational efficiency for the Foundation across departments, and representing the Office of the President. Susie earned her BS in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University and, prior to joining the St. John Paul II Foundation in 2017, worked at Baylor College of Medicine in the philanthropy and alumni relations office. She and her husband, Victor, along with their son, are parishioners at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Houston and enjoy gathering with friends over a meal, wine, and lively conversation. Susie has benefited greatly from the mission of the St. John Paul II Foundation during her time as a team member and continues to be grateful and humbled to have the opportunity to use her gifts and talents to enrich the lives touched by this apostolate.
DAVID NILES
Co-Host of The Catholic Man Show
David is a cradle Catholic, born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 2014 he married his bride, Pamela, and the two of them are now raising five children, 4 girls and 1 boy. In 2009 he received a degree in Finance from the University of Central Oklahoma and currently works as a Financial Advisor at one of the largest financial firms in the world. In 2014 he and Adam Minihan launched a Catholic radio station in Tulsa which led them to start their own Catholic radio show and podcast called The Catholic Man Show. David enjoys and nice glass of Scotch, golf, and medium-length walks on the bench and by God’s grace he hopes to go to Heaven someday.
ADAM MINIHAN

Adam Minihan is the husband of Haylee Minihan and father to 5 children. He is the CEO of St. Michael Catholic Radio, the co-host of The Catholic Man Show, life-long parishioner at the Church of Saint Benedict in Broken Arrow, and Director of Communications for the Diocese of Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma. In 2022, Adam, Haylee, and David and Pamela Niles co-authored a book entitled, “Living Beyond Sunday: Making Your Home a Holy Place” by Ascension Press.
RENZO AND MONICA ORTEGA
Fellows, St. John Paul II Foundation
Renzo and Monica Ortega, Fellows for the St. John Paul II Foundation, are Catholic ministry leaders, podcast hosts, authors, and national speakers. They host the popular marriage podcast Two Become Family.
Their testimonies of faith, marriage, and parenting have been featured by the National Catholic Register, the Knights of Columbus, and Augustine Institute. They are coauthors of the children’s devotional Go to Joseph for Children, and Renzo is also the author of the men’s devotional Go to Joseph: 10 Day Preparation for Consecration to St. Joseph. They’ve also written the book Lovemaking: How to Talk about Sex with your Spouse, published by Ave Maria Press.
Renzo earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Southern Connecticut State University and a master’s degree in theology from Holy Apostles College and Seminary. Monica holds a bachelor’s degree in math and education from Western Connecticut State University and a master of education degree in educational leadership from the American College of Education.
The Ortegas live with their five children in Connecticut, where they facilitate youth ministry and marriage prep ministry.

STEVE AND MARCELLA BURKE
Parishioners of St. John Vianney Catholic Church
Steve Burke married way above his pay grade to the wonderful Marcella and they are blessed with four boys. By day, Steve is a CPA and manages finance technology risk at a global bank. By night and weekends, Steve started an oil and gas company supporting affordable, reliable energy. Steve went to Miami University in Ohio. He walked on to the football team and was a 3 year starter at safety, including a team that finished in the AP top 10. Marcella began her legal career as an energy attorney in AmLaw 100 law firms where she earned equity partnership. She is founder and managing partner of a boutique litigation and corporate commercial law firm that supports the energy and infrastructure industries. Governor Abbott recently appointed her as one of four members of the School Land Board where she helps manage the state’s oil and gas portfolio. An Aggie, Marcella received a law degree from the University of Houston, and has two fellowships in Constitutional Law. The Burkes are both native Houstonians and members of St. John Vianney Parish.
REV. DAT HOANG
Pastor, St. Faustina Catholic Church
Fr. Dat Hoang was born in Vietnam and came to the United States in 1990. He is one of eight children. He attended high school here in Houston and entered the Seminary in 1994.
Fr. Dat was ordained in 2003 and his first assignment after ordination was to Holy Name Parish, north of Downtown. Later on, he was assigned to St. Mary Magdalene Parish in Humble, TX where he served as Parochial Vicar and in charge of Hispanic Ministry there. In 1997, Cardinal DiNardo appointed Fr. Dat as Director of Vocations and the Department of Seminarians, which he served for 7 years before being sent as the founding administrator of St. Faustina Parish in Fulshear.
