Rachel and Jason Bulman have been married for 16 years and have 7 children, six on earth and one in heaven. Jason is a practicing physician assistant, national speaker, writer, and deacon, and holds a master’s degree in theology. His first book Praying with the Psalms:3-Minute Devotions for Advent and Christmas will be released in August 2025 with Ave Maria Press. Rachel is a stay-at-home mother, national speaker, and author. She served as the editor for With All Her Mind: A Call to the Intellectual Life (Word on Fire) and authored Becoming Wife: Saying Yes to More than the Dress (Our Sunday Visitor). The Bulman family was featured on the series "Meet the Bulmans" on the Word on Fire Institute YouTube channel, and Rachel and Jason also wrote and recorded a novena for married couples that is featured on the #1 Catholic meditation, prayer, and sleep app, Hallow.
DAMON OWENS
Founder of Joyful Ever After
Damon Owens, international speaker and evangelist, is executive director of Joyful Ever After (joyfuleverafter.org). The first executive director of the Theology of the Body Institute and chairman of the 2016 International Theology of the Body Congress, Damon founded Joyful Ever After as a non-profit ministry dedicated to encouraging and educating couples to understand and live marriage and family life together with joy through St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body. A presenter at the 2015 World Meeting of Families, 2017 USCCB Convocation of Catholic Leaders, and 2019 Catholic Family Life Symposium, Damon keeps a full international speaking schedule at conferences, seminars, universities, high schools, seminaries, and parishes on the good news of marriage, sexuality, Theology of the Body, Theology of the Family, adoption, and NFP. In 2018, Pope Francis honored Damon with his Benemerenti Papal Medal in recognition for his work in support of marriage and family. Damon lives outside Philadelphia with his wife Melanie and their eight children. Damon has published numerous articles, appeared on many radio and television programs (EWTN, Catholic Answers, Ave Maria, Relevant Radio, Immaculate Heart Radio, ABC World News Tonight, CBS News, NPR), taught in many major Catholic faith programs, and has hosted and produced three 13-part television series for EWTN. He is also an accomplished gospel singer honored with a solo during the 1995 NJ Papal Mass at Giants Stadium presided by Pope St. John Paul II.
REV. RICARDO ARRIOLA
Pastor, Shrine of the True Cross, Dickinson
Father Ricardo was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, and is the youngest member of a large family, comprising nine siblings. His educational journey began at a young age, as he attended Catholic schools from Pre-K through College, where he received a solid foundation in both academics and moral values. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Arts with a minor in Animation, demonstrating a keen aptitude for creativity and design.
At the age of 25, Father Ricardo relocated to Texas, where he embarked on a career as a Bilingual Teacher for the Alief Independent School District. His exemplary teaching skills and dedication to his students were recognized when he was awarded the prestigious title of Teacher of the Year. After five years in the field of education, he felt a profound spiritual calling to pursue the Priesthood, prompting him to set aside his professional aspirations. In 2012, Father Ricardo entered the seminary, marking the beginning of a transformative journey dedicated to spiritual growth and theological education. He attended the University of Dallas, where he engaged in the study of Philosophy, further deepening his understanding of the principles that underpin the Catholic faith. Subsequently, he continued his theological studies at St. Mary’s Seminary in Houston, Texas.
Father Ricardo holds a Master’s Degree in Divinity and Pastoral Studies from the University of St. Thomas, along with an STB (Bachelor of Sacred Theology), an ecclesiastical degree in Theology that signifies advanced theological training and preparation for ministry. His commitment to serving others culminated in his ordination as a priest in 2019.
Currently, Father Ricardo serves as the Pastor of the Shrine of the True Cross, where he continues to dedicate his life to the service of God and the community, fostering spiritual development and offering guidance to those in his care. His multifaceted background as a graphic designer, educator and now as a priest enriches his pastoral ministry, allowing him to connect deeply with individuals from diverse backgrounds and to nurture their spiritual journeys.
