DEACON JASON AND RACHEL BULMAN

Rachel and Jason Bulman have been married for 16 years and have 7 children, six on earth and one in heaven. Jason is a practicing physician assistant, national speaker, writer, and deacon, and holds a master’s degree in theology. His first book Praying with the Psalms:3-Minute Devotions for Advent and Christmas will be released in August 2025 with Ave Maria Press. Rachel is a stay-at-home mother, national speaker, and author. She served as the editor for With All Her Mind: A Call to the Intellectual Life (Word on Fire) and authored Becoming Wife: Saying Yes to More than the Dress (Our Sunday Visitor). The Bulman family was featured on the series "Meet the Bulmans" on the Word on Fire Institute YouTube channel, and Rachel and Jason also wrote and recorded a novena for married couples that is featured on the #1 Catholic meditation, prayer, and sleep app, Hallow.
DEACON MICHAEL J. DEEM, PhD
Fellow, St. John Paul II Foundation
Deacon Michael J. Deem is a Fellow for the St. John Paul II Foundation. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Human Genetics, Director of the Multidisciplinary Master of Public Health Program, and Associate Director of Interprofessional Education in the Health Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh. Deacon Deem received his Ph.D. in Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame and completed the Pediatric Ethics and Genomic Fellowship at Children's Mercy Hospital, Kansas City. He is the author of several articles and book chapters on philosophy of science, bioethics, ethical theory, and empirical health research. He is currently writing a book on concepts in genomic medicine and co-authoring a book on genetic counseling ethics. He is co-editor of two books for Oxford University Press: The Oxford Handbook of Genetic Counseling and Nursing Ethics: Normative Foundations, Advanced Concepts, and Emerging Issues. Deacon Deem was ordained to the diaconate for the Diocese of Pittsburgh in 2024, serving as a permanent deacon at Saint Aidan Parish in Wexford, Pennsylvania and as an Assistant Master of Ceremonies for the Diocesan Bishop. He lives outside Pittsburgh with his wife, Katerina, and their five living children.

Christine Wisdom, MS, LCMHC, is a pastoral counselor, Licensed Clinical Mental
Health Counselor, founder of Wisdom Integrative Counseling, and Director of Marriage
and Family Life Ministries at St. Mark Catholic Church in Huntersville, North Carolina.
With more than twenty years of ministry experience and over fifteen years of clinical
practice, she integrates sound psychological principles with the richness of the Catholic
faith to accompany individuals, couples, and families toward healing and wholeness.
Christine is passionate about helping couples grow in deeper communion with one
another and with Christ, discovering that authentic healing, lasting unity, and sacrificial
love are found through Him. She and her husband, Bryan, are the grateful parents of
four children.
