MOST REV. FRANK J. DEWANE
Bishop of Venice in Florida
Most Reverend Bishop Frank J. Dewane serves as the spiritual leader of approximately 250,000 Catholics in the 10-county Diocese of Venice in Florida. He was appointed by Pope Benedict XVI in 2006 as the second Bishop of the Diocese.
Bishop Frank J. Dewane was named Coadjutor Bishop of the Diocese of Venice in Florida by Pope Benedict XVI on April 25, 2006, and on January 19, 2007, he was installed in his current role as Bishop of the Diocese.
In addition to holding a degree from the University of Wisconsin, Bishop Dewane also completed studies at The American University in Washington, D.C., as well as from Pontifical Gregorian University and Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas, both in Rome.
Prior to entering the seminary, Bishop Dewane worked for the National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) in Moscow, Russia, and then for a subsidiary of PepsiCo in New York City.
Ordained to the priesthood for the Diocese of Green Bay in 1988, Bishop Dewane was appointed in 1991 to serve as a member of the Permanent Observer Mission of the Holy See to the United Nations in New York City, during which time he represented the Holy See at several international conferences. In 1995, he was transferred to the Pontifical Council “Cor Unum” and was later appointed Under Secretary of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace.
Bishop Dewane serves on the Ad Hoc Committee against Racism, and Subcommittee for the Pastoral Care of Migrants, Refugees and Travelers for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Bishop Dewane previously served on several committees at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops including the Committee for Domestic Justice and Integral Human Development (past Chair), Committee for International Justice and Peace.
Bishop Dewane is a member of the Board of Directors of the Franciscan Foundation for the Holy Land, and is the Episcopal Liaison for Catholic Charities, USA.

Fellow, St. John Paul II Foundation
Dr. Ryan Hanning is a Fellow of the St. John Paul II Foundation. He is a Professor of Theology and Catholic Studies and is a founding Fellow of the San Juan Diego Institute which serves several Universities, non-profits, and religious apostolates, and a Fellow of the Havard Institute for Virtuous Leadership Institute and the Institute of Catholic Theology. In addition to teaching and consulting, Ryan also serves as Asst. Editor at Hearth & Field, a Christian Agrarian Journal and writes and speaks internationally on education, theology, ecological ethics, and virtuous leadership. He is the co-author of The WillPower Advantage: Building Habits for Lasting Happiness, along with Tom Peterson, Founder of Catholics Come Home. Ryan currently homesteads in Tennessee with his beautiful wife Rebecca, and their ten well socialized homeschooled children.

Catholic Authors and Speakers, Co-Hosts of Meet the Bulmans
Rachel and Jason Bulman have been married for 16 years and have 7 children, six on earth and one in heaven. Jason is a practicing physician assistant, national speaker, writer, and deacon, and holds a master’s degree in theology. His first book Praying with the Psalms:3-Minute Devotions for Advent and Christmas will be released in August 2025 with Ave Maria Press. Rachel is a stay-at-home mother, national speaker, and author. She served as the editor for With All Her Mind: A Call to the Intellectual Life (Word on Fire) and authored Becoming Wife: Saying Yes to More than the Dress (Our Sunday Visitor). The Bulman family was featured on the series "Meet the Bulmans" on the Word on Fire Institute YouTube channel, and Rachel and Jason also wrote and recorded a novena for married couples that is featured on the #1 Catholic meditation, prayer, and sleep app, Hallow.
REV. DAVID A. PORTORREAL
Administrator, St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church
David A. Portorreal, born and raised in the Greater Cleveland, Ohio area, was ordained to the ministerial priesthood on July 16, 2022, for the Diocese of Venice in Florida. He pursued his education at the College of the Holy Cross, where he majored in Political Science, and later earned a master's degree in Spanish from Middlebury College. Fr. David taught Spanish at his alma mater, Cleveland St. Ignatius High School, for four years before attending the Florida State University, earning a master's degree in film production. After surrendering to the Lord, Fr. David completed his theological studies at St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary in Boynton Beach, FL. As a later vocation, his journey serves as a testament to the belief that God is the Great Course-Corrector, merciful and patient. For God, it is never too late. Fr. David has served as Parochial Vicar at St. Leo the Great in Bonita Springs from 2022 to 2025 and is currently the Administrator of St. Peter the Apostle parish in Naples.
