Gwyneth Anne Spaeder, MD, is a Fellow for the St. John Paul II Foundation and attended the University of Dallas where she graduated with a degree in Political Philosophy. She then attended The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, graduating in 2005. She is a Board-Certified Pediatrician and has practiced in both community ER and private practice settings. She completed a certificate in Health Care Ethics through the National Catholic Bioethics Center in 2015 and has published several articles pertaining to vaccine ethics. She also served as the guest editor for a NCBC Quarterly edition focused on Pediatric-specific issues. She is a recurrent presenter at Theology of the Body workshops for teens and for NFP/Marriage prep within the Diocese of Raleigh. She is a member of the Catholic Medical Association Triangle Guild. She lives in Wake Forest, NC with her husband and three children.
SR. JOSEPH ANDREW BOGDANOWICZ, OP
Co-foundress and Vocation Director, Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist
Sister Joseph Andrew Bogdanowicz, OP, is one of four foundresses of the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist in Ann Arbor, MI. As the Community’s vocations director for 28 years, she travels extensively giving talks, writes for various Catholic publications, and leads retreats for students, parishes, priests and seminarians. She has appeared in media including EWTN, Oprah, NPR, CBS, and Fox & Friends. Sister has written and compiled two volumes of And Mary’s ‘Yes’ Continues, concerning Religious Life today. Over 28 years, the Community has grown to over 130 members, with women coming from throughout the USA and internationally. The average age of the Sisters is 37 years old. These past 3 years, Sister has been assigned as the Community’s “Eucharistic and Marian Revival Preacher,” an obedience that both humbles and excites her immensely!
REV. JEROME KRUG, S.T.L.
Parochial Vicar of St. Eugene Catholic Church, Chaplain of Mount St. Mary Catholic High School, and Assistant Vocation Director
Fr. Jerome Krug, a priest of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, was ordained in 2019. Entering priestly formation immediately following high school, he earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy at Conception Seminary College. He continued at the Pontifical North American College in Rome, earning a Licentiate of Sacred Theology with a specialization in the intersection of psychology and moral theology. Additionally, he achieved certification as a Sexual Addiction Treatment Provider. In 2021 he co-founded the Catholic Healing Initiative, an apostolate which provides ongoing formation and integration to Catholic mental health professionals. Previously having served at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help and the parishes of the Oklahoma panhandle, Fr. Krug now serves as parochial vicar of St. Eugene Catholic Church, chaplain of Mount St. Mary Catholic High School, and assistant vocation director.
VERY REV. RICHARD STANSBERRY
Rector of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help
Growing up, Fr. Rick attended Casady School in Oklahoma City. At the age of 16, he became Catholic at Christ the King Catholic Church, where he became a devoted member.
Fr. Rick's academic pursuits led him to Southern Methodist University, where he graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. He furthered his education at Oklahoma City University, earning a Master's degree in Accounting in 1984. For three years, he exercised his expertise as an accountant before pursuing his calling to the priesthood, enrolling at St. Meinrad Seminary in Indiana. There, he achieved a Master's Degree in Divinity and a Master's Degree in Religious Studies, graduating with distinction. His ordination to the priesthood in 1992 marked the beginning of his dedicated priestly ministry.
Fr. Rick's early pastoral work brought him to St. Charles Borromeo in Oklahoma City in 1992, where he served for five years, touching the lives of countless parishioners. In 1997 he was asked to further his education at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas in Rome, where he pursued a Licentiate of Canon Law, deepening his understanding of Church law and governance.
From 2000 to 2002, he was pastor at Sts. Peter and Paul Parish in Kingfisher. In 2002, he became pastor of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Oklahoma City. Fr. Rick served as pastor of Christ the King Catholic Church from 2007 to 2021 simultaneously, he served as Judicial Vicar for the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City. In July of 2021, Fr. Rick Stansberry was appointed as the Rector of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help where he continues to serve.
Fr. Rick has also served on the Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School Board for 14 years, Mount St. Mary Board for 6 years, Cristo Rey for 5 years, Catholic Charities for 6 years and was the Co-chair of the One Church Many Disciples campaign. In 2010, he was awarded the NCEA Distinguished Pastor Award. His extensive experience, theological expertise, and pastoral care continue to enrich the spiritual lives of those he serves.
Fr. Rick's life journey is a testament to his deep faith, commitment to Catholic education, and tireless service to the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City. His leadership and compassionate spirit inspire all who have the privilege of knowing him.
