REV MARK HANIFAN
Fr. Mark Hanifan was ordained a priest of the Diocese of Reno in 2007. For 12 of his
15 years as a priest he has been a pastor. He now serves as pastor of St. Gall’s in
Gardnerville, Nevada. He grew up an avid outdoorsman and believes the majesty and
goodness of God is clearly displayed in creation. In his 15 years helping married
couples understand their vocation to love one another, he has always loved sharing with
them the integral connection between the spoken marital vow and sex, which is the
embodiment of the marital vow. He has also loved sharing with them the three senses
of love (eros, philias, and agape) and how agape is the love that will help them most in
their married life.
