Veneration of relic of St. John Paul II to follow Mass
Thank you to everyone joining us all across Houston to celebrate St. John Paul II.
Our Feast Day Reception at St. Bartholomew is currently at capacity.
Everyone is still encouraged to attend Mass and veneration.
Following each Mass, there will be an opportunity for veneration of a relic of St. John Paul II’s blood. This relic was a gift to the Foundation by His Eminence Stanislaw Cardinal Dziwisz, then-Archbishop of Krakow and long-time personal secretary to John Paul II.
By venerating the relic of St. John Paul II, we seek his intercession, receive spiritual graces for our families and loved ones, and obtain the courage and spiritual strength to imitate his saintly life and persevere in Christian witness to the Gospel.
From the graces received in prayer, may all married couples, medical professionals, and clergy be renewed in their daily striving for holiness of life and in faith, hope and charity.
St. John Paul II, pray for us!
On Friday, October 22, 2021, the opportunity for Mass and veneration of a first-class relic of St. John Paul II will also be offered at several parishes across Houston. You’re invited to join us at one of the parishes to celebrate this great feast day!
