Scholarships
  • We recognize that many families are struggling during these times. If you need assistance with the cost of the conference, we encourage you to apply for a partial or full scholarship (click here); if you feel called to contribute to our scholarship fund, you can do so at the time of registration.
Refund Information
  • If you are no longer able to attend the conference, after purchasing your ticket, you may choose to transfer your registration fees to a scholarship couple in need, or request a refund.
  • All refunds must be requested 2 weeks prior to the conference. The last day to request a refund is Friday, January 28. All refund requests made on or after January 29 will not be accepted, but the funds will automatically be transferred to a scholarship couple in need. Please email [email protected] to transfer your registration or request a refund.

DAMON OWENS
Founder of Joyful Ever After

Damon Owens, international speaker and evangelist, is executive director of Joyful Ever After (joyfuleverafter.org). The first executive director of the Theology of the Body Institute and chairman of the 2016 International Theology of the Body Congress, Damon founded Joyful Ever After as a non-profit ministry dedicated to encouraging and educating couples to understand and live marriage and family life together with joy through St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body. A presenter at the 2015 World Meeting of Families, 2017 USCCB Convocation of Catholic Leaders, and 2019 Catholic Family Life Symposium, Damon keeps a full international speaking schedule at conferences, seminars, universities, high schools, seminaries, and parishes on the good news of marriage, sexuality, Theology of the Body, Theology of the Family, adoption, and NFP. In 2018, Pope Francis honored Damon with his Benemerenti Papal Medal in recognition for his work in support of marriage and family. Damon lives outside Philadelphia with his wife Melanie and their eight children. Damon has published numerous articles, appeared on many radio and television programs (EWTN, Catholic Answers, Ave Maria, Relevant Radio, Immaculate Heart Radio, ABC World News Tonight, CBS News, NPR), taught in many major Catholic faith programs, and has hosted and produced three 13-part television series for EWTN. He is also an accomplished gospel singer honored with a solo during the 1995 NJ Papal Mass at Giants Stadium presided by Pope St. John Paul II.

MOST REV. MARK E. BRENNAN
Bishop of Wheeling- Charleston, WV

A Boston native, Bishop Brennan is the son of the late Edward Charles Brennan and Regina Claire Lonsway. He attended public schools in Massachusetts and Maryland before entering St. Anthony High School in Washington, D.C. Bishop Brennan graduated from Brown University in 1969 with a degree in history, and then entered Christ the King Seminary in Alleghany, New York for a year of philosophy before attending the Pontifical North American College in Rome for his theological studies. A parish priest for nearly his entire career, Bishop Brennan was assigned to Our Lady of Mercy Parish in Potomac, MD, from 1976-81; St. Pius X Parish in Bowie, MD, from 1981-85; St. Bartholomew Parish in Bethesda, MD, from 1986-88; St. Thomas Apostle Parish in Washington, D.C., from 1998-2003; St. Martin of Tours Parish in Gaithersburg, MD from 2003-16. Bishop Brennan attended Spanish Language courses and Hispanic cultural studies in the Dominican Republic and in Colombia from 1985-86. From 1988 to 1998, Bishop Brennan was the Director of Priestly Vocations in the Archdiocese of Washington. He was appointed Auxiliary Bishop for the Archdiocese of Baltimore on Dec. 5, 2016, and ordained on Jan. 19, 2017.

NICK CHANCEY
Newman Center Director, Marshall University

Nick Chancey is the Campus Minister and Director of the Marshall Catholic Newman Center. Nick actually became Catholic through the RCIA program at the Marshall Newman Center and served as a student leader there. After graduating with his BA in History in 2015, Nick went on to serve as a Missionary-Intern for the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston’s youth office. Upon finishing his ministry internship, Nick went on to serve as the Campus Minister for the University of Charleston and West Virginia State University. After 3 years of building the Catholic campus community in Charleston Nick came back to his Alma-Mater in 2019 as the Newman Center’s new Director. He very much looks forward to welcoming students back in the fall once pandemic restrictions have hopefully lifted. When Nick isn’t ministering to students he’s busy studying for his online Master’s degree in Catechesis through Catholic University of America. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.
