Dr. Mini Vettical was a beloved mother, physician, professor, and friend of the Foundation who dedicated herself and her career to caring for those most in need — particularly the medically underserved in Houston, TX — and to inspiring in others that same devotion. Dr. Vettical brought her faith, passion, and joy to all she served. One of her legacies as a physician is that those who worked alongside her and those she served remain inspired by the love and compassion she had for each person she encountered.

This special scholarship was established by family and friends in Dr. Vettical’s honor in order to make it possible for students to attend Converging Roads medical ethics conferences and receive high-quality, faith-informed formation in medicine and ethics. This scholarship will give more than 300 students each year the opportunity to attend Converging Roads so that, like Dr. Vettical, they may be guided by their faith and ethical convictions as they care for their patients.
