  • "In these challenging times, it is important to keep our eyes on Christ our hope. Couples and families, in particular, are called to live out their vocation as a School of Love. This year's Together in Holiness conference will be an excellent day to receive deep formation and practical guidance as you strive to live out the call to holiness.  I encourage you to participate."

Health + Safety Guidelines

As part of our mission to uphold the sanctity of life and family, the St. John Paul II Foundation is committed to the health and safety of all conference participants. We are closely monitoring local, state, and Archdiocesan guidelines, and at this time, we remain hopeful that Together in Holiness will continue to take place in person in some capacity.
  • We know that Together in Holiness is a vital ministry to you as couples and families, and we desire to continue serving you through this conference. We are developing precautions to ensure adequate social distancing, minimize contact with high-touch surfaces, and maintain a safe and clean environment. Important Information regarding Refunds, Cancellation, and At-Home Participants:
  • At this time, we remain hopeful that the Together in Holiness conference will take place as planned. Should circumstances change and the event be postponed, you will be notified as promptly as possible.

  • In light of ongoing conversations among local, state, and Archdiocesan officials, we are refraining from opening registration for on-site childcare at this time. In the interim, we have a childcare waitlist available for registered attendees. Should childcare become available, pre-registered attendees will be given priority registration for childcare and remaining spaces will be opened thereafter.

  • For those participating in our At-Home Conference Experience, you may request sample childcare activities in your package of resources (sent via USPS or email).
We recognize the importance of on-site childcare in enabling you to attend, and we are doing all we can to ensure that this service will be available. However, we do not want to risk the health of our children or couples, and we appreciate your patience with us as we work through the logistics of offering safe, affordable on-site childcare.

Program Director, St. John Paul II Foundation

Joshua Bitting, Ph.D. (cand.) serves as Program Director at the St. John Paul II Foundation where he oversees development of a parish-based marriage enrichment program based on our Together in Holiness conference series and curriculum. Born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, Joshua came into full communion with the Catholic Church on June 22nd, 2003, the Feast of Corpus Christi while completing his B.A. in philosophy at Southwestern College (Winfield, Kansas).  Joshua attended Franciscan University of Steubenville where he earned his M.A. in theology. Afterwards, he had the opportunity to study at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (Santa Croce) in Rome, Italy. Since then, he has served the Church in various capacities at both the parish and diocesan levels. Currently, he is completing his Ph.D. in theology and catechetics from the University of Notre Dame, Sydney, Australia.  Joshua and his beautiful wife, Amanda, have six children, and enjoy sharing the Gospel of life in their primary vocation as spouses and parents.

Catholic Speakers, Writers, and Co-hosts of “The Catholic Conversation”

Steve and Becky Greene present together and individually about the Church’s teachings on the Theology of the Body, marriage, family, Natural Family Planning, and pro-life issues. A cradle Catholic, Steve is the Director for the Kino Catechetical Institute for the Diocese of Phoenix, who regularly writes and speaks on true masculinity, fatherhood, and modern philosophical errors. His articles have been featured in Crisis Magazine and The Catechetical Review. Becky, a former agnostic feminist, writes and speaks on her conversion story, authentic femininity, and motherhood. She also homeschools the couple's five children and helps her color-blind husband match his ties and shirts. When they're not shuttling children to sports, stepping on Legos, or telling someone to pick up dirty socks, the couple hosts the popular radio show “The Catholic Conversation" with the Cradle and the Convert, which airs on the Phoenix Relevant Radio station AM1310 and via podcast on iTunes and Soundcloud.

Parishioners at St. John Vianney, Houston

James and Leigh have been married for thirteen years and have six children, one daughter and five sons, ages 10 to newborn. James has practiced commercial litigation for 8 years, and is a partner at a boutique firm in Houston. Before staying home with their children full-time, Leigh worked in marketing and development in Boston. Over the past year, they started a reading group for parents of young children designed to better equip themselves to form their children's consciences. They also are one of the witness couples in the video series for the new Together in Holiness Formation series. They enjoy spending time with extended family, hosting friends, Longhorn Football, and karaoke.

At-Home Conference Experience

  • To accommodate those who are not comfortable attending an in-person event due to health concerns, the St. John Paul II Foundation is offering a special At-Home Conference Experience for this year’s Together in Holiness conference!
  • The At-Home Conference Experience will be offered exclusively for this year’s event, and is designed to enable couples to participate in the Together in Holiness conference from within their own domestic church. While nothing can replace the communal element of the conference or the participation in the sacraments, we hope this option will serve as a reminder to couples and families that their response to the universal call to holiness begins at home.
